The designs of infinity pools give us the illusion that the pool flows continuously without edges. It is also known as the negative edge pool. Contrary to what most of the people think, the pool has one wall or edge lower than the water surface, this makes the water flows in a never-ending style.  But the truth is the water pours over the pool’s edge down to the trough. The style and structure looks impressive to many and this attracted many homeowners to build one at their own backyards.  So to give you an idea, here are the steps how to install infinity pools in your backyards.

1. In building the tank or pool, you are free to choose the direction where the negative edge should be face. You have to use cements and bars in creating the wall. Take note of the level of negative edge because a small difference in edge’s level will destroy the water illusion. Thus, you can no longer call it infinity pools. You also have to build a standard filtering system that is separated from the pool’s system.

2. Now that you’re done in making the wall, the next step in installing infinity pools is to assemble the trough. It should be located under the negative edge. The primary purpose of the trough is to catch the water overflowing in the edge. It serves as a reservoir. After the water runs in the trough, it will go to the holding tank where it will be pumped back to the pool. This is how the infinity pools create their tricks.

3.  Using a pipe connect the trough to the water holding tank. Make sure that the pipe has the right size so that the water will flow freely. The last step is to connect the pipe from the holding tank to the powered pump. Consistently check the pipes, to avoid problems

With these 3 simple steps, you can now have infinity pools at home. If you think that you are not capable of building a pool at your backyard, you can ask some experts to do it for you.
